Terraria how do i plant seeds

If I remember correctly, Minecraft has a similar way to earn seeds, which I utilized much of the time when farming back then.

I see your point of view Silumgar, but I stand on my ground that this idea has reasonable value to the game. If you experience life in Terraria and at no point do you ever manage to have an inventory full of things of value,. I'm sorry I didn't get to that point earlier, but I do commend you on your good thinking about bringing piggy banks along with you.

Great idea! But I'm sad to say it doesn't solve this particular problem efficiently. Piggy banks like safes keep your items in storage away from other people in your world that may "borrow" items from you, and allow you to transfer some stuff between worlds. The problem is, many valuable items are kept in piggy banks and safes, like different sets of armor or your set of 10 bananarangs. There may not be space for a bunch of seeds that you have on your expeditions.

Also, perhaps you forget that piggy banks cost 1 gold each. In fresh worlds you can't always scrap up 1 gold because perhaps you died earlier in that cave at depth or you have other, more important things to buy with your gold. You could ask your peers, but they might be unwilling to pay you their money for something they will find no gain to. I understand that you may play more single player then multiplayer or you could be incredibly organized all the time , but in multiplayer you don't always get enough money in the world.

Nonetheless this still would save people the time they spend looking for seeds. Thanks for your input! Problem: Not having enough seeds. Solution: Don't throw them away. Like I know when you're on the go throwing seeds and plants away is almost certain, but when you're at your base there is no reason to throw your seeds away. Place a chest, put the seeds in there right next to your green house, and after a while of harvesting seeds you'll EASILY get wayy more seeds than you need, even in early game.

You know, not all suggestions are caused by problems. Now, although it is a nuisance to keep your seeds on the go, it isn't the only benefit this suggestion will bring to the game. You could also make mass farming in general faster by exchanging a plant for even more seeds. You may also encounter plants when scavenging and not get any seeds at all. Cancel Save.
